York College of PA is a Banner school. We are presently discussing billing next year's winter intersession (WI) term with the spring semester (SS) term. The WI charges will be combined with SS charges. We will register students in term 15 for the WI and term 20 for SS. However, we would like Banner student account charges to consider both semesters and calculate accordingly. For example, if a student has 3 credits in WI and 6 credits in the SS, it would charge 9 credits on the student account. Additionally, if a student takes 3 credits in the WI and 12 credits in the SS, it would charge a full time rate (no extra charge for the WI class). Finally, if a student takes 3 credits in WI and 18 credits in SS, they will be charged the full time spring semester rate plus 3 credits.
Does anyone do this at their Banner school? If so, we would appreciate any guidance you can offer.
